The service
Online Ready is an online safety course licensed to schools on a per-seat basis. A "seat" is one student access code, valid for one academic year from the date it's issued unless agreed otherwise.
Pricing and payment
Seats are priced at £1 per student per year, and a single order can be for up to 15,000 seats. An invoice is issued with your order and is due within 30 days of the invoice date, payable by bank transfer (BACS).
Access during a payment dispute
If an invoice becomes overdue, we won't cut off students mid-course. We'll get in touch with the school's finance contact to resolve it directly before any access is affected.
Acceptable use
Access codes are for use by the licensing school's own students only, and shouldn't be shared outside that school or resold.
Cancellations and refunds
A school can cancel at any time by telling us in writing (the contact box on any page is fine). We will refund the cost of all seats that have not been used. A seat counts as used once a student has entered the class code and started the course. We will make the refund within 28 working days of receiving your notice, to the account the invoice was paid from.
Once we have your notice, unused codes are switched off. Seats that students have already started are not refunded, and those students can finish the course.
Data protection
See our privacy policy for how student and school data is handled. Nothing in these terms overrides your rights under UK data protection law.
